• Complete your profile to 100%. This is a top priority. Recruiters and employers don’t even look at profiles that are not 100% completed. Make sure your profile includes lots of accomplishments and summarizes your goals, just like your resume so your profile makes a good impression.

• Add a professional looking picture. Many people avoid this but it is critical. Your profile can’t be 100% complete without a picture. Do not use a picture of you at a party laughing and holding a beer. Make it a professional picture. If you do not have one, seriously consider visiting a professional photographer to get a good picture. Make sure you look friendly and nice. No grimaces or frowns allowed!
